| In 2009 the National Transport & Development
Conference
comes of age and celebrates its 21st year.
The conference has a long-standing reputation for the place where ideas in transport and land use planning first emerge. This year will be no exception with the focus on how we as a profession will be ‘Shaping Tomorrow’. We will also be introducing our new interactive conference facility ‘Qwizdom’ which will give each delegate a voice in the debates and provide a new experience in conference attendance. Sessions will include:
- MPs from leading political parties speaking about their transport and planning manifesto as we head towards a General Election
- Local authorities explaining how they are approaching the development of LTP3
- An interactive session on planning inquiries led by transport and planning professionals including planning barristers
- A month-by-month guide to key milestones for the profession in the year ahead
- How to create legible walking towns and cities (study tour)
The conference will be of interest to both the public and private sectors and academics specialising in transport planning and all those involved in the land use planning and development industry.
As well as an inspiring conference programme, we will be having a 21st Birthday Celebration Dinner on the Thursday evening.
So come and join us, share your views and learn about the
shape of tomorrow.
Save 10% on a 2 day ticket if you book online. Limited period only.
