The Effectiveness of Travel Plans
This report is a review of the effectiveness
of Travel Plans and their characteristics, an
identification of the information needed to quantify
the effect that Travel Plans will have on mode
of travel, and researches current TRICS® data
and the future role that TRICS® can have in incorporating
Travel Plan effects. The approach adopted for
this study has been to review existing research,
and based on this review, to make recommendations
for a possible way forward for incorporating
the effect of Travel Plans into TRICS®. This research
differs from other Travel Plan research projects
in that it has sought to identify a common assessment
method for understanding Travel Plan effectiveness.
